I've always loved Denver. This city has so much to offer. A combination of historical and modern buildings, museums, shopping, restaurants, cafes, art, and it's always a great place to people watch. It's not exactly a city that doesn't sleep, but there always seems to be a lot going on.
That said, I will never pass up a chance to go downtown for a photoshoot. Saturday night was no exception. After cooking a wonderful dinner, Chicken and Mushrooms in wine, served over rice, with steamed cauliflower and a salad, we headed downtown for some night shooting.
The adventure started on 15th and Platte. A quick walk down Platte brings you to the Highland Bridge. This is the first of three bridges that link the Highland Neighborhood to the Central Platte River Valley and to Downtown Denver.
Looking towards Denver, across the Highland Bridge, you can see the Millennium Bridge behind the Highland Bridge. This pedestrian bridge crosses I-25 and has so much character. The angles are amazing!
Looking towards the Highland Neighborhood
After taking some time to discover the wonders of the Highland Bridge the night took me towards Denver and the second bridge of the night.
The Platte River Bridge
As the name suggests, this bridge carries pedestrian traffic over the Platte River. Behind the Platte River Bridge you can, again, see the Millenium Bridge.

Two and a half hours into my adventure I didn't get too far. But that's ok! Since I'm only 20 minutes from this wonderful city I can get down there anytime I want. And Guaranteed, I'll be back down there soon!
One last shot of the Millenium Bridge, the Platte River Bridge and the wonderful city of Denver.
